Meet Our Executive Team

Amanda Vogt, President 

Amanda Vogt is President of AWSM at Penn State. She is a senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Sports Studies and Digital Media, Trends and Analytics. Amanda covers Penn State football as an insider for Penn State on SI and Comm Radio and men’s basketball as a beat reporter with Penn State Sports Night. She has a golf obsession which led her to covering the 125th U.S. Open at Oakmont. Amanda’s passion for sports storytelling also brought her to Williamsport for the Little League World Series and to Paris for the 2024 Paralympics which she covered for the Associated Press. 

Jenna Wissman, Vice President

Jenna is the Vice President of AWSM at Penn State. She is a junior majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Sports Studies. Jenna is involved with PSNTV’s Penn State Sports Night, 360 Sports and Penn State Network News. On Friday’s you can catch her on After The Whistle, a weekly high school football live show. Additionally, Jenna interns with Happy Valley United & Teammates for Life and is a Comm Radio talk show host on Gridiron Girls.

Lindsay Luczak, Secretary

Lindsay Luczak is Secretary of AWSM at Penn State. She is a junior majoring in Public Relations with minors in Digital Media Trends and Analytics and Sports Studies. Lindsay currently serves as a Social Media Intern for both Penn State football and Penn State Athletics. This past summer, Lindsay spent time with several NFL teams, gaining hands-on experience and learning directly from industry professionals. She aspires to build a career in the NFL, working in digital and social media.

Emily Supplee, Treasurer

Emily Supplee is the Treasurer of AWSM at Penn State. She is a sophomore majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Sports Studies. Emily is apart of PSNTV’s 360 Sports where she covers a variety of different sports including hockey, football and baseball. She is also a Penn State Football video board intern. Outside of sports, Emily is a member of Thon’s 46Live video team where she covers different parts of the 46 hour dance marathon. Over this past summer, Emily served as a game day intern for the Lancaster Stormers.

Jezenia Marrero, Director of Alumni Relations

​​Jezenia is the Director of Alumni Relations for AWSM at Penn State, where she thrives on bringing people together. Her passion for event management is fueled by her work toward a Meeting and Event Management Certificate from Penn State's School of Hospitality Management. In addition to her role with AWSM, Jezenia shines as an on-air talent for State Media, where she has had the exciting opportunity to interview prominent Penn State athletes. She also contributes to several shows across the Penn State TV Network.Looking ahead, Jezenia aims to pursue a career in sports broadcasting. When she’s not talking about sports, you can find her exploring nature (if it's not too cold), working out, or listening to a podcast!

Alexis Lubart, Social Media Director

Alexis Lubart is one of the Directors of Social Media for AWSM at Penn State. She is a sophomore majoring in Advertising and Public Relations. Alexis is a social media assistant for Penn State Campus Recreation, Membership and Outreach Manager for the Penn State Tennis Center, second in command for the a THON Public Relations committee and Publicity Chair for the Advertising and Public Relations Club. Additionally, she is working toward the John Curley Center Sports Journalism Certificate. Looking ahead, Alexis dreams to work for a Professional Sports Team!

Isabella Marini, Director of Social Media

Isabella Marini is one of the Directors of Social Media at Penn State. She is a sophomore majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Sports Studies. Isabella has her own sports podcast where she interviews athletes at Penn State, giving them the platform to tell their stories both on and off the field. Her passion for sports media led her to an internship with Penn State Athletics during the 2025 spring semester where she got to help produce live video broadcasts.

Kennedy Rivers, Director of Membership

Kennedy Rivers is the Director of Membership at Penn State. She is a sophomore majoring in Broadcast Journalism and minoring in Sports Studies. Her favorite sport to watch and cover is football as she aspires to be a NFL sideline reporter. She is heavily involved with After the Whistle (Penn State’s high school football show). Over the summer, she interned at Fort Lauderdale United, a professional soccer team in south Florida where she sharpened her broadcast skills and learned more about the sports market and communications industry.

Sydney Coxe, Director of Events

Sydney Coxe is the Director of Events of AWSM at Penn State. She’s a junior majoring in Broadcast Journalism minoring in Sports Studies. Sydney works as a video board intern for Penn State football, but previously worked for The Daily Collegian. Aside from Penn State football, Sydney can be found working in the studio where she covers stories on Penn State Network Television shows such as Penn State Sports Night and Penn State Network News.
