Happy Friendsgiving!

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, the AWSM crew kicked off a Friendsgiving event just a few days before heading into break. The girls all gathered in the Carnegie Cinema for food, games, and most importantly, the big/little reveal! 

“It’s really nice when everyone can get together to do bonding events like this and give the younger girls mentors for their own little community within AWSM,” President Kendall Skalicky said.

We enjoyed refreshments and Chick-fil-A catering while getting to talk with friends. Huge shoutout to the executive board for organizing the event. Our amazing Secretary, Amanda Vogt, and Director of Membership, McKenna Kerr worked hard to group together the big and littles within AWSM. Each Big has four or five littles! In an exciting reveal, we received our big and little members based on our shared liking of NFL teams such as the Steelers, Jets, Eagles, Dolphins, and more. After initial introductions, everyone split into groups for a game of sports trivia on kahoot to conclude the meeting. This week’s bonding event was tons of fun and a great way to spend our last meeting before break!
